Can you visualize the artwork based on the cast shadow?

(Yes, I went to both MOMA and The Met, and spent my time taking pictures of shadows. :-)

I think it's quite an impressive trick of the human mind to see a 2-dimensional cast shadow and be able to "reverse engineer" a vision of a 3-dimensional object.
