The Center of the Earth

Really, really cool. I love when an image becomes something that makes me constantly question whether what I'm looking at is real or not. I really dig the conflict between what is so familiar to me, like the names and countries on what I readily identify as a map, and the unfamiliarity of the shape the Earth appears to have become. Looking at it, I start to get sucked into a pattern of thinking back and forth into the familiar and the unfamiliar, each equally poking my curiosity and leading me to want to know more about the other.
