Alpine by *kparks. The suggester wrote, "*kparks has always amazed me with what the artist can do with paper. The photographs he creates are always very conceptual and abstract as well. "Alpine" really reminds me of Alps. The light is simply amazing." ( Suggested by EternalFallacy and Featured by opioid )

This is really a fascinating piece. It is really visually stimulating and very pleasing to my. But it's a bit hard for me imagine that this is actually taken by camera. I mean, wow. I can't really figure out how you do, but I think it would be nice to add a description in your Artist's Comments. Again, this piece is absolute brilliant. And congrats on the DD. :D

You're right, I should add the link to the Artist's Comment.

Thanks!

Yeah, it was quite a surprise (and a thrill) to log in this morning and have 180+ messages, compared to the usual 4 or 5. Still working my way through the "Thank You"s. Thank goodness it was on a weekend, otherwise I would have gottne hopelessly behind in replying. :-)

BTW, I still have Serene Green sitting in my "in box". Hope to get to a proper Critique some time or other.

That's the rub - I'd like a DD one day, but then, it does involve a lot of "paperwork," so to speak... I don't think one is obligated to say thank-you for every fave, just the ones w/comments, because sometimes it just isn't manageable. Plus, if you fave 20 things a day, do you really remember the individual deviants you faved, and think, "Hmm, that one never thanked me - what a jerk!"

Yup, it's photos of paper. This one is a composite of a few images.

I actually created a deconstruction of it this morning, to answer questions like yours...

Very eye catching. Would love this on my desktop! What's cool is that although the colors are so pale they still seem to pop out as if they were florescent!

Great art!

It's cool to have an image that's seen to have some of those qualities. :-)
